About Postecoglou
⚽️ Meet Postecoglou - The Purring Prodigy of the Pet League! 🐾
Are you ready to bring home a champion? Introducing Postecoglou - an 8-month-old, black-and-white, medium-haired feline dynamo named after the legendary soccer manager Ange Postecoglou. Just like his namesake, this kitty is kicking goals, winning hearts, and bringing joy to every home stadium he enters.
Postecoglou isn't just a cat - he's a crowd favorite. With his silky black-and-white "kit" (pun intended), clever moves, and big heart, he's always playing in the Premier League of Cuddles and Fun.
🏆 Player Profile:
Name: Postecoglou (but friends call him Postie)
Strengths: Dribbling around furniture, fast sprints at 3 AM, winning snuggles in extra time
Personality: Confident, playful, affectionate, and always up for a match
Special Skills: Expert at chasing balls, diving for wand toys, and scoring in the cuddle department
Awards: A favorite to bring home the MVP award for 2025 - Most Valuable Purrer.
He's got fans of all ages cheering him on - toddlers to seniors, Postie loves them all. Whether you're watching cartoons or classic matches, he's by your side, purring in support.
And when the game's done and the final whistle's blown? Postecoglou becomes the star of the social club - soaking up the limelight, mingling with his adoring public, and basking in the glory of another day well played. A real club legend in the making.
Whether he's leaping through the air like a striker going for a header or curling up on your lap like a calm midfielder during halftime, Postecoglou is the total package. He'll bring tactics of love, passion, and endless entertainment into your life - and trust us, he plays the long game.
He's team-ready and looking for his forever home cup final. He's looking for a family that's ready to be part of his winning squad - are you game?

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
