Little Jasper is a sweet and gentle soul who does not have a mean bone in his body. He loves love and wants nothing more than to curl up with his person and have cuddles.

Sadly Jasper was on a list of cats due to be put down at a shelter but luckily, thanks to some amazing people, we were able to get him out of there and he's now living the good life with his new foster mumma.

Jasper was quite shy when he first arrived but his foster mum has done a great job with him, showering him with love at every opportunity, and he's now starting to come out of his shell.

He spends most of his time curled up in the safety of his cave bed but is always in the mood for a pat and a scratch when you come to see him. His foster mum has been lifting his cave-bed onto her bed when she's home and he's been spending time hanging out with her there.

Recently he has started venturing out and rubbing up against her wanting pats, which you can see in the video we have uploaded of him.

Jasper has come a long way in a short time and is almost ready for adoption, but we're going to give him a little more time to find his feet before he makes the move to his new forever home. But we're more than happy to take expressions of interest :)

Jasper is approximately 10 months old and has been desexed vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be available for adoption very soon.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
