About Mya
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This beautiful little lady is very loving, very affectionate and just loves people. She stepped out of her cat carrier in her foster home and went straight up to her foster mum for pats and cuddles.
Mya's previous owner moved interstate and unfortunately could not take her with them so she was given to family to look after. But Mya was not happy in the family home so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new forever home.
Her previous owners said that she did not get along with the other cats in the household but so far, under her foster mums watchful eye, she has been great with the other cats and dogs in the household.
But that said, you can tell that she is very people motivated and would love to be the only cat in the household so she could rule over her own little kingdom. She is a bit of a princess :)
Mya loves a pat and a scratch, will rub up against your legs when she's in the mood for attention, enjoys a cuddle and is happy to be picked up and smooched.
She is a very low maintenance little sweetheart who is happy to chill out and do her own thing when you're not around and come up for pats and cuddles when you get home.
Mya would be a great fit for a retiree or home body who's looking for an affectionate companion to kick back and watch TV with.
Mya is approximately 5 years months old and has been desexed vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
