About Sally
Hi, I’m Sally – a loving, playful girl with a big heart and a whole lot of character! After spending four months in the pound, I’m now soaking up the comforts of home life and learning what it means to be part of a family. I’m looking for someone who can be my person – someone I can follow around, dote on, and share my loyalty with.
I love being outdoors and am happy spending my days in the yard or relaxing in a secure pen. At night, I sleep outside on the verandah or in my pen, but I’d happily adjust to inside sleeping too if you’d like a companion by your side. I’m medium-to-high energy and love doing zoomies – it’s my favourite way to show off my goofy side!
While I get along with other animals, I’m definitely happiest as a one-and-only pet where I can soak up all your attention. I currently live with other dogs and a few confident cats – I’m respectful of boundaries but can get a little excited if a cat runs (what dog wouldn’t?!). I haven’t shown interest in wildlife like hares or wallabies and am overall pretty calm with new environments.
I’ve been doing well with my basic training and am toilet trained. I’m also great at the vet and travel well. I’m still learning how to walk on lead and sometimes get a bit unsure, so I’d love someone who can keep encouraging me gently. I’m eager to learn – I just need a little patience and guidance to help me shine.
I’ve been around children but would be best suited to a home with older kids or adults who understand that I sometimes get a bit enthusiastic when I’m excited. I genuinely think everyone is here to play, and I’m still learning how to tell the difference between fun and fuss. I’ve got no health concerns and enjoy my Meals for Mutts like a good girl.
If you’ve got a warm heart, a steady hand, and some time to spend with a loyal best friend, I could be your girl. I’ll love you with everything I’ve got, follow you wherever you go, and make every day just a little more joyful. I can’t wait to find someone who sees in me what I know is there – a great dog, just waiting for her forever home 💕
