Hey,
My name is Louie, I’ve recently been renamed as my name I came in with, I had no idea what it was!
I’m a little bigger than the average Pom (meaning a little on the chunky size). My foster carer was shocked that I was only 7.8kg, but a kg off me would make a huge difference to me.
I’ve come from a house of lots of cats and dogs, so I’m looking for a laidback lifestyle with my people.
Yes I do need to start a fitness plan, but that can be a gradual process (PLEASE).
I’m on the Gold Coast.
I came in with a sore bottom, and change in diet and rubbing it on cement I made a mess of it.
I’m on antibiotics, bland food and lots of cream.
I’m great with dogs but I’d prefer on my own or one other.
I lived with cats as well🙄
Everyone tells me I’m a little character and a little quirky which I think that’s pretty cool. Who wouldn’t want me in their life?!
My rescue group are pretty vigilant to find the right fit for me not just the first one, so make sure you can put as much information about yourself so my guardians can find the best home for me!

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
