Bambi - 15 Month Old Beagle X

Bambi is a sweet girl who is always watching and waiting to do something with you and to please you. She has loving eyes and softest coat which feels gorgeous to cuddle up too. She is a happy playful girl who will make you smile with her passion for life. She is a pleasure to live with and will be a loving friend for life. Bambi is a good medium size that is still manageable to pick up if need be, and if you have good strength.

Being a young Beagle, Bambi has plenty of energy, she can run fast and play hard. She would suit someone who has an active lifestyle who goes outdoors, walks or jogs. She would benefit from a good size backyard to run in.

Bambi looks forward to her morning walks and enjoys any extra walks you can give her throughout the day. She loves a sniffari and wants to follow her nose wherever she goes! But as her nose takes over, she tends to pull, is strong on the lead and is dog reactive, so she needs a very committed person/s to train her properly to correct and improve on these behaviours she can walk well on a lead. NOTE: Bambi is not suited to kids to walk her until she has had good training.

Bambi is very intelligent and learns quickly, she needs stimulation, exercise and attention otherwise like any smart bored dog will become destructive.

Bambi loves her food, especially treats which will make training easy for you. She sits for her dinner and is very gentle taking her treats. She enjoys gnarling on a bones and hard lasting treat. This helps calm her, regulate her eagerness and feed her senses.

Bambi is very dog friendly (off a lead) and gets along well with her three small foster siblings. She loves to play as much as she can and do chasies in the back yard. As she is living in a pack now so a fur friend would be lovely for her so that she is not lonely, or someone who is home a lot as she loves company, snuggles and needs walking and stimulating.

Bambi loves to sleep on her carers bed snuggled up warm and cosy right next to you.

NOTE Bambi can jump very high (onto a kitchen bench) and over 1.2 fencing easily. In her new home she must have a minimum of 1.5, preferably 1.8 fencing all the way around your property, this is unnegotiable. Please only apply if you have the time, willingness, skills and energy to train her properly.

Bambi is in foster care in Wahroonga, NSW. Her adoption fee is $800, and she is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, and desexed.
