About Josie (66212)
Josie is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd who came to GAWS as a stray. Despite her uncertain start, she's proven to be a friendly, social, and well-rounded girl who's ready to find her forever home.
Josie loves people and is very dog social, so she could happily join a home with a well-balanced male dog. As we don't know her history with cats or whether she's toilet trained, her new family will need to offer some gentle guidance as she settles into indoor-outdoor living.
This smart girl already shows great recall and strong handler focus. While she may not have had formal training, she's got all the right traits to thrive with positive reinforcement and consistency. Josie will flourish in a home that can provide her with continued socialisation, structure, and love.
A home with German Shepherd experience would be ideal, but it's not essential-what matters most is a commitment to her ongoing development and well-being.
If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving companion, Josie might be the perfect fit. 💛
Contact GAWS today to meet this stunning girl!
