š¾ Personality: Mason is a sweet dog who is playful, curious, and absolutely adores the company of other dogs. Heās still learning about the big wide world and would benefit from continued social interactions with other dogs as he truley enjoys their company. His confidence will also continue to grow with age and continued positive interactions with dogs and humans and his gentle nature will always shine through.
Mason picks when he wants cuddle time but loves being close by and will happily sit near you for a soft pat on the head or chest. Heās a full on adventurer and loves exploring, checking out his yard and of course whatever you are doing, he wants to help out. After his training and walks he can be a bit of a lounge lizard and loves nothing more than to chill out after playtime. Heās also a total foodieāmealtimes are his favourite, and he gets adorably excited, jumping with joy when he knows itās coming!
Mason's striking spotted colouring will attract a lot of attention to this handsome little pup as he grows into being an adult dog.
š Training: Mason is a clever pup who is just starting to learn basic commands and is catching on quick. He benefits from being mentored by an older cattle dog at his foster carers house. Mason has been well exposed to all sizes and shapes of dogs and reacts well with the company of other dogs. He is learning how to be behave in new situations. Heās food motivated, which makes training a breeze, and with consistency and kindness, heāll continue to thrive. He would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement and gentle socialisation to help him to continue to feel comfortable meeting new dogs and people.
š Perfect Home: Mason is looking for a calm, patient home where heāll be given the time and support he needs to grow into a well rounded dog. Children must have an understanding and previous exposure to a dog in their home. Ideally Marshall will go to a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from and if no other dog then a person dedicated to continue his socialization and training.
A quieter household with adults or older children would suit him best as he continues to grow in personality and size into a wonderful happy dog. His ideal family will be understanding that he is just a puppy and his whole life has just opened up with this new opportunity that foster care has given him. His family absolutely must be committed to continuing his training and socialisation.
Mason is a working breed dog, they need structure, routine and familiarity. With the right guidance, Mason will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion. Daily walks, training, a play with doggy friends, and a comfy spot to snooze nearby his people is his idea of the perfect day.
Love & tail wags,
Mason
