Ghost

Hi, I’m Ghost. When I first came to my foster home, I was very timid and wouldn’t even eat my food or get up if someone was watching me. Thanks to a lot of kisses and cuddles, I’ve come a long way, but due to my breed, my forever family would have to understand it could take weeks to gain my trust and love, and a simple mistake could leave me reverting back to being timid.
As Ghost is a Maremma currently living in a suburban home, he is currently an inside-outside dog, as he does bark a little during early hours due to his natural instincts.
Ghost is perfect with other dogs, but sadly, due to no fault of his own, he will need to be fed separately, as he does have mild food aggression towards other animals. So far, it’s only growling, and we are in the process of hopefully training him out of this.
Ghost is very curious about cats and doesn’t show any signs of aggression around them, but it would be best for slow introductions.
Ghost does seem to be afraid of men and sometimes urinates and tucks his tail when approached.
Ghost is looking for a home where he can reach his full potential with love and lots of patience, somewhere he can run around, and somewhere with trees, as Ghost sees trees as his safe place.-

All animals are health checked, vaccinated, worm/flea treated, microchipped, desexed and registered with Gladstone Council.
They are socialised in the homes of loving foster carers, not in cages or kennels. (See our website to join the team)
