Meet Winston 🐾
Winston came to us from Cooktown late last year and has recently completed treatment for heartworm. After being such a trooper throughout his recovery, he’s now healthy and ready to find his furever home!
From the moment Winston joined us, he stole our hearts, and it's easy to see why. This little dachshund cross has a big personality and plenty of energy! Despite his small size, Winston is full of life and never lets his stature hold him back.
He has moments of high-energy on his walks and is continuing to improve on his leash manners. Winston is still working on basic commands, but his food motivation makes training a breeze—he’s eager to please and learns quickly.
Winston is also incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention, cuddles, and being close to his people. His ideal day includes playing with friends, going on walks around the neighborhood, and settling in for the night with a tasty meal and a cozy cuddle.
Caution! Winston’s sweet nature and snuggle obsession will have you falling in love before you know it. He’ll sneak right into your lap or bed for all the cuddles you can handle.
If you're looking for a playful, loving companion, Winston would make a wonderful addition to any family. He’s sure to bring joy and love into your home!
Winston is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
