Meet Sterling,
Sterling is a soft and sweet little soul with a thoughtful nature and playful spirit. While he might act a bit coy when you first say hello, it’s just his gentle way of getting to know you. It won't take long until he’ll happily show off his playful side, pouncing on toys and following you around with quiet curiosity. Sterling is independent but never far from your side - he’s always interested in what you’re up to and enjoys being part of your world. He’s the kind of kitten who will quietly sneak into your heart and stay there.
Sterling would be suitable for most homes. He would make a great mate for kids and is open to meet children of any age!
Just like all kittens, Sterling would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. He should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that he grows up big and strong. Sterling is already litter trained, but it’s best to show him where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & supervised introduction, over a few days, to ensure that they have the best chance of getting along.

Recovered Cat Flu: Historically cat flu has had a negative reputation and can often deter people from adopting; but you wouldn’t actually be able to tell a recovered cat flu cat from a non-cat flu cat. The truth is that many cat flu cats will live happy, healthy, long lives in their new home. So, what is it? Cat flu is caused by a virus. Humans can’t catch it, but other cats can; but only if the cat is showing flu symptoms. • Search for the animal you are interested in by typing their name or impound number in the search bar
• Read through their profile & click the red button which says 'Submit an Expression of Interest'
• Next, we'll reach out to you
• If all goes well, we'll discuss the next steps and a meet & greet!
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
