He arrived at the shelter as a stray alongside his littermate, both initially very fearful and unsure of their new surroundings. With time, patience, and care, Chesapeake has started to come out of his shell and is showing wonderful progress. He now accepts soft strokes and especially enjoys gentle chin scratches, responding with quiet curiosity and calmness. While still a bit shy, his growing confidence shows he's ready for a patient, loving home that will continue to help him blossom.
