About Marly
Marly is at BARC searching for her new forever home, having been surrendered due to a change in her owners circumstances this fun loving girl is keen for a new start, a non-racing start that is!
This amazing girl is so calm and gentle and such a charismatic girl, she loves spending her days with other medium to large sized dogs and would love to be out and about with a new bestie. Marly would thrive in pet home, she loves her people and quickly attaches herself to human friends.
Marly would describe herself as a diamond in the rough, we do have other greyhound currently have here in our care at BARC, but she would be on her best behaviour to shout "just pick me!"
Marly would suit any type of home as long as it did not have children under 6, cats or other fluffy animals or small dogs. She is looking for a home to provide cuddles, attention and a nice comfy spot to sleep.
Wanting an inclusive home allowing inside access and lots of companionship this lovely girl is keen to join someones pack and is looking for an adventurous home wanting to have her join them on their walks day trips and family adventures.
So, if you're on the hunt for a loving, laid-back companion who's as beautiful as they come, look no further than yours truly, Marly!
To book a meet and greet with Marly please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
