About Milly
Hey there, pals! I'm Milly, the most fabulous black and white Greyhound you'll ever meet. At about 3 years old, I've perfected the art of being a sweet, gentle girl who adores people. Seriously, if you're looking for a cuddle buddy, I'm your gal!
I'm all about making new friends, especially with other doggos. But just a heads up, I'm not really into the small puppers, cats, or little critters. They're just not my cup of tea, you know?
Oh, and speaking of tea, I've got this whole house training thing down to a science. No accidents here, folks! Plus, I'm a pro at walking on a leash. So, if you're up for it, let's hit the pavement for a daily stroll. Then, it's back home to my favorite spot on the couch for some serious snooze time.
Now, when it comes to the kiddos, I'm cool with the older ones-like over eight years old. But hey, let's meet 'em first, just to make sure we're a perfect match.
So, if you're on the hunt for a loving, laid-back companion who's as beautiful as they come, look no further than yours truly, Milly!
To book a meet and greet with Milly please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
