Meet Poncho - A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom
Poncho is a sensitive and affectionate boy who absolutely adores his handlers. He's looking for a calm, inclusive home where he can continue to build confidence through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Poncho has previously lived with another dog and may thrive with a well-matched canine companion. He could also suit a home with children over 5 who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. However, Poncho is not suited to a home with cats.
He is housetrained and eager to please, which makes working on his basic manners an enjoyable and rewarding experience. His lead skills are still a work in progress, but with patient guidance and the right equipment, he'll be walking beautifully in no time.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
