Muppy & Shazza!
The Dynamic Duo or Jack Russell Terrorists.... this beautiful pair are fun, feisty & fantastic!
They are not related but have lived together for years & we're hoping to adopt them out together as a bonded pair. Shazza is the older girl at 6 years with Muppy at 5 years old. They get along really well to the point where they will eat out of the same food bowl. Do they ever have a spat? Well yes, occasionally, over toys! Sometimes the odd disagreement arises with who owns the tennis ball. Muppy is a world class soccer player, readying herself for next year's World Cup! You just need to make sure that there are toys aplenty to share around.
Life will always be fun with these two around; there will always be a game to play, a walk to go on, a lap to sit on & love to share.
Do they yap? Yep, sometimes they do! They are Jack Russells, a breed often known to have something to say!
You will need decent, secure fencing to keep them safe. They are not known to be serial escapees, but terriers are canny &, if left with nothing to do, can make their own fun.
Muppy & Shazza love dressing up in their harnesses & heading out to explore the world. A Sniffari walk, where they get to stoop & sniff their surroundings, is highly beneficial to their mental wellbeing & gives them lots of information to process about the environment.
A non-negotiable requirement for Muppy & Shazza is that they be able to live indoors with their family. These gorgeous girls will not thrive being left out in the cold, missing their humans.
So, if you have a couple of Jack russell sized holes in your life, consider this pair; twice the fun, twice the chaos, all the love in the world.... life will never be the same again!!
The adoption fee for one is $450, as a pair it is $750. We will separate them if the right homes come along.

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
