About Braxton
Meet Braxton, a gentle and easy-going black cocker spaniel who is eager to become the newest member of your family.
Born on 28 May 2015, Braxton is well past the puppy stage. A typical spaniel, he has a charming personality that is both affectionate and lively for his age.
Weighing 11 kg, he is perfect for those who are looking for a smaller canine companion with an abundance of love to share.
Currently sporting some rugged-looking dreadlocks, Braxton has just been rescued from the pound and will be off to the groomer soon—so keep an eye out for his updated photos!
Even in his current state, his soulful eyes are hard to resist. Known for his love of attention, Braxton thrives on interaction with humans. He is untested with children and cats.
Braxton may not have the skills of a traditional watchdog, but what he lacks in guarding instincts, he more than makes up for with love and companionship. He excels at forming bonds with his human family.
If you're seeking a gentle, loving, and loyal companion who fits perfectly into family life, Braxton is the dog for you.
The first step in our adoption process is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
Preference will be given to homes with good fencing ('cos Braxton needs to be kept safe) and someone home most of the time ('cos Braxton just loves people).
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Desexed on 4 June 2025.
