About Diesel
Our large breed puppy Diesel is ready to sniff out his home.
This sweet boy Diesel is estimated to be 14 weeks of age. We believe him to be a mixed breed pup inclusive of staghound, staffy and possibly bull arab.
Diesel foster carers report he is great with their very large puppy, and their very elderly staffy dog. He loves to be a part of the family, and be involved in all goings-on.
He is in the process of mastering toilet training. He has bladder control issues when he is excited (FOOD!), but is expected to grow out of this normal puppy behaviour (has a little excited pee).
He has shown no inclination to escape our yard (2 dogs, 3 children between 7 and 13, and 2 adults home 95% of the time have kept him occupied), but he has shown the ability to jump extremely high. A solid 5-6 foot fence would be strongly recommended.
Diesel loves belly rubs - this is his weakness. He is a quick learner - leash walking, sit, stay and crate training are all in progress.
Diesel has not had any exposure to cats.
Diesel has been flea and wormed, desexed, microchipped and had his first vaccination (booster required). His adoption fee is $800.
If your after a sweet natured, keen to learn, stunning looking large breed puppy then Diesel may be your fellow.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
