NOTE: You are unable to meet Duke until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Duke in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a clever, young and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car


My best features:
• Snuggler
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit & shake hands
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will benefit from further basic training so that I am the best mannered boy that I can be.
• I can be bouncy when excited, further training with positive reinforcement should help this.
