About Tui
Tui – A Shy Sweetheart
Tui is a petite Mini Aussie Shepherd with a heart as gentle as her nature. Rescued from a puppy farm, she’s still finding her paws in the world. Life before now wasn’t easy for her, but she’s slowly learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.
She’s a quiet homebody at heart—sweet, loyal, and incredibly endearing once she trusts you. Her toys are treated like precious puppies, and food is one of her great joys in life. Tui’s quirks only make her more lovable, and those who take the time to know her will be rewarded with a deep, meaningful bond.
Tui isn’t the type of dog you’ll take to busy cafes or dog parks—those environments are still far too overwhelming. But give her a calm, patient home with people who understand her past, and she’ll thrive. She’s good with cats, and with slow, gentle introductions, she gets along well with other dogs too. On walks, she’s happy to say a polite hello to canine friends and keep walking. She has always lived with other dogs and checks with them to know when things are safe, especially when out on walks; a brave and playful male dog would suit her well.
Tui will need a quiet household, experienced with shy or fearful dogs, and committed to helping her continue to heal, possibly for years to come. She’ll never be the life of the party, but she will be someone’s loyal little shadow, always close by, quietly showing how much she loves you in her own way.
She’s a work in progress—but an absolute gem for the right person.
Tui is ready to find a home that sees her for who she is and who she could be. If you’re ready to go slow, give her the time she needs, and let love work its quiet magic, she just might be your perfect match.
Medical notes
Tui is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
