Check out this handsome boy Lever. He is a very sweet doggie and loves nothing more than having a human by his side.
Due to no fault of his own, Lever was surrendered because of his previous owner’s cost of living issues. When he arrived he was clearly happy to be in foster care with no signs of anxiety or fretting. His happy disposition is constant in the company of humans.

As a young dog, he’s still at times a playful and exuberant like a puppy, but quickly settles calmly to snuggling on his doggie bed. Lever shows good signs of training and sits readily on command, particularly when dinner is being served and obediently refrains from jumping on the sofa when told. He is toilet trained, has no chewing issues and travels calmly in the car. He would need training to help curb his enthusiasm when walking on lead and to somewhat settle his excitement when his humans arrive home.

He loves being given a belly rub when he rolls over and follows you around the home for bonus pats and cuddles. Lever is not a noisy barker and his infrequent barking has been low pitched.

Lever loves mostly being inside but is also happy in the yard, as long as he has a doggy bed to relax in. He is placid in the company of another dog, but it’s not essential as humans are definitely his best friends!!
