About Andy
Meet Andy, a charming 8 month old cattle dog with a sweet temperament and a knack for quickly picking up new things. Sandy is calm and content when surrounded by people, radiating happiness whether on adventures or during downtime. This spirited pup has proven to be an excellent travel companion, enjoying car rides with ease and settling happily into his crate for a nap as long as he can see you nearby.
Andy is a social butterfly with a soft spot for making new friends, whether they're human or canine. You might notice those lanky legs and big paws — he's going to grow into quite the stately dog, and his friendly and gentle nature means he'll get along wonderfully with fellow dogs. Sandy's efforts to make friends even extend to the big guys, like the mastiff he recently met!
Wherever he goes, Andy loves a good meal and happily waits patiently for dinner. He's pretty unfazed by new things, especially if they involve a good chew. He loves sharing bone-chewing time with his furry companions, although he'll respect a warning snarl if he gets a little too curious about their treats.
Sleepy afternoons are best spent lounging on the couch or alongside you in bed, even indulging in a cheeky snore from time to time. While mostly house-trained, Andy is still perfecting his indoor habits, but he's making excellent progress. With ample opportunities for outdoor breaks, he manages just fine, and an open back door suits him well. Quick to learn, Andy is adjusting to the idea that kitchen counters aren't meant for exploration.
Andy would thrive in a household that offers companionship and activity, alongside a big-heart and an affinity for cozy couch snuggles. If you're searching for a friendly, intelligent, and endearingly lanky addition to your family, Andy is sure to bring joy and warmth to your life.
