About Arey
Hi! My name is Arey, and I’m a 3-year-old black kelpie who’s looking for a new best mate.
I’m a curious boy, but can be cautious at first. I do warm up quickly, and once I trust you, I love being part of your day, whether it’s heading out for a walk or relaxing at home.
I’m people-motivated, good with children and other dogs, and I know how to sit and drop. I’m still learning to shake, but I pick things up fast! I sleep in my own bed and am a courteous housemate.
I’m great out in public and on the lead. Apart from the occasional tug when I smell something interesting, I walk right next to you.
I’d thrive in a home where people are around most of the day. A secure yard, space to move, and a family with kids or another friendly dog would suit me well. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s up for a mix of adventure and chill time, I could be the perfect match!
Arey is located in ACT.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
