About Piper
Piper is a gentle soul looking for a calm, patient, and loving family who can offer her the stable home she deserves.
Having spent most of her life outdoors, Piper is still learning to trust and enjoy human companionship - and with time in care in the shelter environment she is already starting to flourish.
Piper would love a home where she can enjoy both indoor comfort and a secure outdoor space to explore and relax in. She's not used to the hustle and bustle of busy homes, so a quiet environment with teenagers or older children is best.
She's still figuring out the joys of being part of a family, and she'll need time and patience to adjust at her own pace. Although she has been a bit overwhelmed in shelter and not shown much interest in toys, we believe once she bonds and feels safe, she'll discover the fun of playtime and connection with her people.
Piper has also shown a strong prey drive in her previous home, so a home with no cats or small animals is needed.
Piper is open to a family with another doggy friend, and she becomes quite playful with them! She can be a bit worried by dogs that are very forward and dominant, so a meet and greet is required at the time of adoption to ensure it's a good match!
Piper is looking for a family who understands that the best things take time-and she'll repay your patience with deep loyalty and love.
