About Birdie
Meet Birdie! Birdie is a beautiful grey tabby and a devoted mum to five kittens. Birdie was found with her kittens when they were only a couple weeks old! She was very protective of her babies but has now learnt to trust humans! Despite her youth, Birdie is a great mother with a gentle and loving personality. She’s very vocal and makes cute little
bird noises when she wants cuddles or food. As she is still young, she loves playing with toys, especially wands! Birdie gets along well with other cats but remains cautious around dogs, though with time and patience, she could learn to feel comfortable around them. Overall, Birdie is a charming, loving cat looking for a patient and caring home where she can continue to thrive. While she’s no longer a tiny kitten, Birdie will make the perfect addition to any family. Birdie will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outside dangers. If you would like to meet Birdie, she will be attending our Adoption Weekend June 7th, 8th & 9th (June Long Weekend) at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
