About Bo - 3 Month Old Kelpie X Wolfhound

If you’re after a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be by your side, say hello to Bo. This gorgeous Kelpie x Wolfhound mix is 3.5 months old and growing into a medium-to-large dog with a calm and thoughtful personality.
Bo is the quieter of the litter — a soft-natured, cuddly pup who loves to curl up on the lounge and just be with you. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or pottering around the house, Bo is happy to quietly observe and keep you company. He’s more submissive by nature and thrives on gentle guidance and reassurance.
He sleeps well through the night (as long as he’s tucked into his crate!) and gets along beautifully with other dogs — he absolutely adores their company and would love a doggy companion in his forever home. While he’s still mastering toilet training, he’s making progress every day with routine and positive reinforcement.
Currently in care with his brother Billy (also available for adoption), Bo is a sociable boy who enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown no interest in birds. He’s playful and affectionate but not over-the-top — a great balance of energy and calm.
Bo is a perfect fit for a home that values companionship, patience, and a relaxed pace. He’ll grow into a loyal, affectionate dog who’ll always be by your side — your little shadow and biggest fan.
Bo's perfect home will have:
* A calm, loving environment with patient guidance
* Family who’s home often, especially while he’s still a young pup
* Access indoors, especially for cuddle time and sleeping in his crate
* Another friendly dog would be ideal for companionship
* Ongoing training and routine to support his toilet training and confidence
* Space to relax and observe his world at his own pace
* A household happy to share the lounge and their heart
Bo's adoption fee is $800, which includes his desexing when he is old enough. He has had 1 vaccination, treated for fleas, ticks and worms and is microchipped.
He is located at Chain Valley, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
