Hi, my name is Flame.
Before coming into the safety of 9 Lives, I came from a colony of cats with my brother Gunner & my sister Tulip, we were all being fed by a kind butcher, this helped us immensely as that enabled our mum to make milk for us to drink...
I was named Flame by my foster mum, because I had that spark in my eyes & determination.
Like a slow burning candle, so is my personality, I take a while to warm, I am still a little wary of strangers, loud noises and quick movements, but once I trust you, I will give you my heart.❣️
I love to lay in my foster mums arms all comfy & melt into them, then I begin to purr madly...
I am fine with cat friendly dogs, I even have a Bunny friend in foster care...
My ideal home would be a home that already has a friendly existing feline, a cat friendly pooch or a family that has older respectful children/ teenager or adult home. I would also be ok as an only cat as long as my humans were home mostly to be my company, I am an independent little girl...

1. We ask that you fill in our Adoption Application before we make arrangements to meet a cat or kitten. This will help us to match you the best suited cat or kitten.

2. We will conduct an Interview via phone or video chat if your application is successful.
3. We will invite you to a meet and greet at a time that suits you and our foster carer.
4. If it is a purrfect match for cat and hooman, you will need to:
- Pay the adoption fee as listed. We accept direct deposit or cash.
- Sign our final adoption agreement and send it back to us
- We will conduct a house check and drop off your new friend. We carry out house checks to ensure that there aren't any escape routes, or toxic plants etc.
- We prefer our cats to remain indoors at all times for their safety and the safety of wildlife and are only outside if they have access to a cat run our are outside with supervision.
