About Alice
Meet Alice, a beautiful border collie girl, who is sweet and loves to be with her humans!
Alice has all of the hard work done with her, and is a well trained and mannered lady. She is still quite active and enjoys a daily walk or run, and is then happy to kick back. She has a great off switch and is crate trained.
Alice previously lived with another border collie in a suburban environment. She is currently in foster care on a farm which she also loves. Alice has lived with kids of all ages and is great with them. Alice gets along well with other dogs, but sometimes needs slower and gentle introductions. She can become overwhelmed with full-on dogs who get up in her face, but is easily guided through this.
Alice can be a bit vocal if left alone for extended periods of time. She would be best suited to a home where her humans are home more often than not, and she is able to be included in their daily lives. Alternatively, a home with another doggy pal who isn’t in your face or wanting to rough house all day, would suit her. She is not suited to a home with cats or other small animals.
Alice has lived a great life, and is only being rehomed due to circumstances beyond her families control. She is a well rounded dog; a typical border collie who will need an experienced owner to ensure she lives her best life while she’s still active, and who will give her all the creature comforts into her retirement when she begins to slow down.
If this sounds like you, then put in an application for Alice today!

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
