I'm Stewart, but I also go by the names Stew pot, Stewie and smoochy boy!

Nature
I'm a playful boy, who loves nothing more than chasing flies around the house or playing with my toys. I love people and can't get enough pats and cuddle time. I love to be up high, so if you can't find me, just look up - I will be on the top shelf of the wardrobe or on the top of a cupboard. The higher the better.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my food. I even managed to convince 3 hoomans I hadn't been fed one day and got 5 meals out of them. I'm scared of nothing and no-one, and I am happy to help you with whatever task you are doing. My Foster Mum thinks it's funny how I am obsessed with running water. If you are washing up or cleaning your teeth, I will be there playing with the water.

I can be a bit clumsy sometimes. Mum says it's because my legs are so long and my paws are too big, but she still loves me. At the end of the day, I love nothing more than curling up on your lap. My Foster Mum says I am the most laid back purring dude she has ever met, as I take every new situation in my stride and will welcome everyone with a purr and a nose bump. My Foster Mum says I am the perfect boy when it comes to using my litter tray. Even when I had a poor stomach, I never had an accident outside my tray.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live with one teenager and no other pets, but I am so laid back and friendly that I would be okay with other animals if introduced properly.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Food. Cooked chicken is my favourite treat at the moment.
✅ I love to be around people and am happy to curl up on a warm lap or lie in a sunny spot on the floor.
✅ I love to follow you around and stick my nose in everything you are doing.
✅ I’m not scared of anything and am happy around loud noises - No issues with the vacuum cleaner or hair dryer. I am happy in a noisy room or a quiet room but am more likely to get up to mischief in a quiet room!

❌ I’m not keen on water in a bowl and much prefer running water, so a water fountain would be ideal.

My PURR-fect home would be somewhere that feeds me and loves me as much as I will love them back. I'm so laid back that, with the right introduction, I would fit in anywhere. I do need somewhere that I can run around when the zoomies kick in, and plenty of toys to keep me out of mischief. I like to be up high, so if there is somewhere I can get up and watch what's going on, I will be happy.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Stewart has a sensitive stomach and needs to remain on a veterinary prescribed sensitive stomach diet to reduce the likelihood of him suffering from diarrhoea.

Stewart has juvenile Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Stewart will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
