About Sid
đŸ Meet Sid â Your Goofy, Gentle Giant đŸ
Looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a silly streak? Meet Sid, a handsome Border Collie x Staghound mix with the soul of a couch potato and the heart of a clown.
Despite his working dog genes, Sid is surprisingly laid-back. Heâs happiest lounging near his people, soaking up cuddles, and making you laugh with his goofy personality. He lives for food, loves to please, and will enthusiastically try every trick in the book to figure out what youâre askingâuntil he nails it with that proud sparkle in his eye.
Hereâs what makes Sid special:
â
Great with kids, cats, and other dogs (though his doggie manners still need a little polishing)
â
Fantastic on the leadâan easy, calm walking companion
â
Happy to be left alone when needed
â
Food motivated and eager to learn
â
Loves affection, pats, and being part of the action
A note on Sidâs leg:
Sid has had multiple surgeries to repair a badly broken leg. While the leg healed in a deformed position and he doesnât bear much weight on it, it still plays an important role in his balance and mobility. The orthopaedic surgeon who treated him has advised that, for his overall body health, it's best the leg remains. Even though he doesnât use it much, it helps take pressure off his other limbs and reduces the risk of future joint issues.
Sidâs on a supportive care plan to keep him feeling his best, including:
4Cyte joint support
Glucosamine tablets
Fish oil capsules
A high-quality dry food diet (LifeWise)
Sid will thrive with someone whoâs kind, patient, and ready to welcome a dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. In return, heâll give you loyalty, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
Ready to adopt a dog whoâs as unique as he is lovable? Come meet Sidâyour future best friend.
