About Willy Wobbler
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Incredibly sweet and completely unfazed by life's challenges, Willy Wobbler is an outgoing little guy on the search for his purrfect home!
Willy was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a condition that causes impaired coordination and head wobbles. That’s why his face is so unique-looking! Fortunately for Willy, his case is mild and he doesn't seem to notice he's any different from the other kittens in his foster home. His life expectancy is unaffected, and he shouldn't need any special care other than some accessibility accommodations like a raised food bowl, a litter tray with lower sides and ramps up to all the important places, like couches and beds :)
Willy is definitely special, but he isn't defined by his disability - it's his friendly nature, passion for play and smoochy ways that cause everyone who meets him to fall in love. He's a total pro at making human and animal friends alike!
Like all Maggie's pets, Willy Wobbler is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Being everything any cat-lover would want - happy, confident, playful and affectionate - I can't even imagine a home where I wouldn't fit right in!
I suppose my only strict requirement is that I'm kept indoors-only, for my safety. I might also benefit from raised food bowls and a litter box with lower sides for easier access, as well as a ramp up to the couch so you're always available for snuggles when I need them!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm pure crazy kitten - until it's time for a cosy cuddle. Oh, and I'm also crazy smart, in case you were wondering! TWICE (so far!) my foster mum has accidentally blocked off my access to the litter box, and I very politely went for a wee over the shower drain instead :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Children who'll understand and respect my physical limitations would make lovely companions, I'm sure!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd jump (if I could!) at the chance to live with other friendly felines! Being so friendly myself, I'd likely get on with nice dogs too.
Medical notes
Willy has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, causing slightly impaired coordination and head wobbles. This condition doesn't affect life expectancy, and he is otherwise healthy.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
