About Moo
Moo female, white and black with black heart on ribs, with hazel soulful eyes, short hair kitten. Hig
She has been regularly wormed, flea treated, desexed, microchipped and had all 3 start out vaccinations.
Moo is a neo natal kitten who came to us approximately at 2-3 weeks old, we have dated her birth as the 18th Feb 2025. Her mother left her at the Fairfield airport. She came to us dehydrated and full of worms.
Once that was sorted she settled into care without any major problems.
She has been toilet trained with an enclosed kitty box with no door flap and paper based kitty litter since she came into care, she needs it cleaned at least twice a week, she doesn't like wet cat litter on her paws and will shake it off outside the box. Clean cat litter is fun to play with.
She has had full run of our house but recommend that she starts out in new home with one to two bedrooms.
She has been in a temperature controlled home, so may require some adjusting and extra care around this in her new home. Very spoiled.
She is a very clean little girl who self gromes, she does have a sassy side to her, which induces a full body sashshay walk.
She loves her food but isn't fussy about it as long as it has good taste. She started out on royal Canin mum and bub kitten wet food as well as royal Canin kitten dry food, but has mixed it up with tiki kitten, than recently whiskas, fussy cat and purr kitten varietys. She has also had Friskies kitten dry food mixed into her royal Canin, and doesn't mind this either.
She has also been introduced to kitten milk, (supermarket brand) which she loves, but do not give it to her till after she has eaten or she will fill up on milk and not eat.
She is an energetic shy little girl, with a big heart, she loves a good gentle play.
She loves to play with a variety of toys and climb cat towers and play in boxes that have holes cut into them. One of her favourite places to go too, is the top of the floor to ceiling cat tower, in the foster home. She will disappear to the top for a good nap during the day.
She has a fascination with shoes and laces, and will happily roll in and over the shoes in play. She can play independent or with her siblings from other mothers in care. She will do well with a multi pet household.
She has grown up with two older male cats, two female dogs, and two other kittens. The dogs are her other mummies, so she is very trusting with them., and will also sleep with them. Be mindful that she will stay in the background with any other pets, letting them get what they want first.
She has had brief times with primary aged children but she has had more time with adults. Not recommended for families with children under age of six.
Would suit someone home alot of the time, as she doesn't like to be left home alone.
She likes gentle play and quite. With lots of cuddles and kisses, she would prefer to be on someone or near them at all times.
When we have had visitors she will slowly come out, unless she is already extremely busy with play, then nothing fazes her. She loves extra cuddles from guests, unless busy doing her own thing. Loud noises scare her and she will run and hide. Especially when the vacuum is running.
She gets the zoomies through the house at around 11pm, but will settle down within 30 minutes for bed. Unless she has had play time earlier than she just settles.
When she becomes tired she is a snuggler and enjoys kisses, cuddles and pets and will happily sleep on top of you especially for the night. But she loves to be beside your pillow if there is a soft fuzzy blankie for her to snuggle into.
But is also happy for a comfortable bed on a raised area, with a blankie.
She has had a soft crate since coming into care and will still happily go to it to sleep, of her own will as well. Would highly recommend one for her as she feels safe in one with a very fluffy and plush blankie and a teddy.
She has a good purr motor, but she will continusously meow semi loud if left on her own. She will also let you know her displeasure in car travel.
She has set feed times of 7am, 12 noon, 6pm and 10.30pm. she will need this feed time for a while yet. We recommend a good nutritional dry food at least for the rest of her life since she was a neonatal. We are sure she will grow into a beautiful gentle but sassy girl in the right home.
Her fur is soft and where she has black she has some stand out dusting of white long hairs, she loves a good brush unless she is busy. (But she is a sucker for attention)
While in care she has had an adult with her nearly 24/7. More recently she has been left with other pets approx 1-2 hours every 3rd day.
So she might not do well if left home alone with other pets for longer periods.
She will NOT do well left home alone with NO other pets around that she trusts. She has a small amount of seperation anxiety, from being abandoned, but will thrive in the right home.
If she sounds like she will fit into your family contact us now!
