🐾 Meet Scruffers – Playful, Cuddly & Full of Love

Scruffers is a super friendly and affectionate young doggo who’s looking for a home as warm and wonderful as his personality. He’s still a youngster, but already showing great promise with training—he’ll sit on command and even knows what “get out of the kitchen” means!

His loves to go out walking or playing (especially with his favourite lobster toy 🦞), but he’s just as happy to laze around and soak up cuddles. He absolutely loves being petted and will follow you wherever you go.

Scruffers is house trained, sleeps soundly through the night (up to 12 hours!), and is gentle and sweet with kids. He’s also friendly with other friendly dogs and would be a great companion for a home with or without other pets.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
