About Halley
đŸ Meet Halley â Sweet, Shy & Full of Love
Halley is a gentle soul who adores human connection. She might be a little shy at first, but with kindness and patience, her affectionate side shines through. Sheâs still learning to feel secure in new situations and can be a bit vocal when sheâs unsure, especially around other dogs. But with gentle guidance and reassurance, she settles well and grows in confidence every day.
Sheâs playful with other dogsâbig or smallâand would do best with a friendly canine companion. Halley isnât keen on being left alone for long, so a home with another dog or someone around most of the time would suit her best. Halley is house trained, sleeps well in a quiet space, and is gentle with kids who understand sheâs still finding her feet. Sheâs ready for a loving home where she can feel safe, supported, and truly part of the family.
Thinking of Adopting a Puppy?
Bringing home a puppy is excitingâbut itâs also a big responsibility. Training is just as essential as food, water, and shelter. A well-trained pup is easier to live with and far more enjoyable to be around. Start training early, puppies are quick learners! Focus on basic commands like sit, stay, and come, using consistency, repetition, and plenty of praise or treats to reinforce good behavior.
Training also helps with socialisation, teaching your pup how to interact calmly with people and other animals. Once fully vaccinated, regular exercise will also help burn off energy and encourage positive behavior. As your pup grows, you can explore more advanced training like tricks or agility, itâs great mental stimulation and a fun way to bond.
With patience, consistency, and lots of love, youâll set your puppy up for a happy, well-adjusted life by your side đ¶â€ïž
So, if youâre ready to welcome a pup into your life, consider adopting today. You wonât regret it!

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
