Medical Note:
Baker came into care with a broken femur in his back leg, this was already partially healed by the time he arrived and has continued healing well without surgery. He is pain-free and fully mobile, while there’s a slight risk of arthritis when he’s older, he may have no problems at all. Baker has a final vet check in mid-June to ensure surgery isn’t required, if a repair is needed his leaving date may be slightly postponed. A foster-to-adopt or extended trial period for the right home can be considered.

Baker is the living, purring, snack-seeking embodiment of good vibes. He’s never met a person, pet, or patch of sunshine he didn’t immediately fall in love with. Got cats? He’ll charm them. Got a dog? New best friend. Got a lizard? Baker says, “Hello, scaled sibling.” He's an emotionally secure overachiever in kitten form who thinks the world is one big cuddle puddle—and somehow, he’s always in the centre of it.
From the second he opens his eyes to the moment he flops upside down into a snuggle nap, Baker is vibrating. The purrs never stop. Seriously, he has no idea he's supposed to be recovering—he’s too busy doing hallway sprints, somersaults, and his signature sideways scoot™.
We’ve run the tests and the results are in: Baker is hoarding 100% of the shared ginger kitten brain cells. He’s smart, curious, and strategic—especially when it comes to locating the treat stash, or knocking your phone out of your hands so he can smooch them. He loves being upside down (we suspect the brain cells float to the top), and is especially joyful when he has a feline buddy to tag-team antics with. He’ll thrive in a home with another playful, cat-friendly friend—or better yet, consider doubling the chaos with a dual kitten adoption!
Bombproof doesn’t begin to cover it. Baker is vacuum-chasing, water-splashing, chaos-proofed excellence. He’s snuggly, loves being picked up, and makes an elite lap warmer—just in time for winter. But fair warning: food is his love language, and while he means well, his table manners are... a work in progress. A separate snack zone may be necessary while he polishes his etiquette.
