About Daisy - 8 Week Old Fox Terrier X
Delightful Daisy loves a tummy rub. She is adventurous, fun and cheeky – the perfect mix of playfulness and warmth. Daisy is a confident pup who will keep life exciting and bring so much happiness. Daisy has puppy energy, she’s lively, fearless and super smart. Daisy is very alert and inquisitive about her new environment. She is your typical puppy who is learning her way through life, experimenting, tasting, testing everything.
Since being in foster care, Daisy has learnt to use the doggy ramp up and down the stairs. Daisy loves to run around the yard exploring new places and getting into a little mischief. This gives her exercise and wears her out. It also helps her sleep all night long.
Daisy currently lives with 1 large adult dog and her siblings.
Daisy wants and needs proper training and therefore must have a family or person fully committed to spending time with her and training her properly. This will mean she becomes a well-balanced, sociable and polite puppy with impeccable manners.
Daisy has the soft, short coat that you would expect from the Foxie breed. Usual life expectancy for her breed is up to 16 years.
Daisy’s yard needs to be complete, ready for a puppy with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no small gaps in the fences or gates. Under the house must be blocked off, and no soft soil where she could dig out to escape. Please don’t underestimate the gap size a puppy can get through.
Daisy in brief:
- Weight 2.5kg
- Working on house training, uses pee pads and grass
- Needs a safe and secure yard
- Needs a family home often whilst she is a puppy
- Kids over 8
- Not tested on cats, bunnies’ birds etc
In her new home Daisy would love:
* Fur friend, but not necessary.
* Doggy door to continue toilet training
* Yard to run and exercise in
* Daily walks
* Chew toys
* Healthy food
* A human who loves to snuggle, cuddle and kiss
Daisy’s adoption fee is $900 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. She has had 1 vaccination, been treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.
Daisy is in foster care on the North Shore Sydney, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
