About Gordie
Meet Gordie, an amiable and spirited Jack Russell Terrier eager to share his zest for life with a new family. At 10 years young, Gordie has the perfect mix of youthful enthusiasm and mature companionship. He’s exceptional on a lead and overjoyed at the prospect of a daily walk, where he can show off his excellent leash manners and meet new friends along the way.
Gordie has a friendly nature and fits in well with other dogs, making him a delightful companion if you have canine pals who enjoy a bit of entertainment. While he might not thrive on a farm due to his tendency to chase sheep, he has been okay around cats but could potentially chase. Being a social and happy little guy, he adores attention, and you’ll often find that he can’t get enough of those loving pets and pats.
Basic training is already part of Gordie's skill set, a testament to his intelligence and eagerness to please. His ideal home would be one that can offer him affection, a cozy bed at night, and plenty of adventures during the day. If you’re searching for a devoted and gentle companion ready to fill your days with joy, Gordie is your perfect match.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
