About Lara
š¾ Meet Lara: Adventurer. Treasure Seeker. Heart Stealer. š¾
I am Lara - a 12-month-old, sleek and stunning grey tabby with eyes as sharp as my reflexes and a heart just waiting to be discovered.
I've traversed the treacherous tunnels of the laundry basket, scaled the towering cliffs of the bookshelf, and embarked on countless quests in pursuit of the legendary Golden Milk Bowl (also known as breakfast). But my most important mission? Finding my forever home - and maybe stealing a heart or two along the way.
Agile and athletic: I'll leap, pounce, and play with the skill of a seasoned explorer. I'm also cuddly and clever: After a long day of adventuring, I seek cozy campfires - or at least a sunny windowsill and your lap.
I can sneak into your heart and nap in it without you even realizing.
I'm the perfect sidekick for your daily life - whether it's a quiet night in or a daring escape from boredom.
I'm Seeking a fellow adventurer (that's you) with a warm home, a kind heart, and possibly some treats. Bonus points if you have a treasure trove of toys and a soft blanket or two. Other pets? I'm open to teaming up - with proper introductions, of course.
So, are you ready to answer the call of destiny?
To unlock the ancient mystery of purrs, zoomies, and headbutts?
Then come meet me, Lara -
Your one-of-a-kind, whisker-twitching, heart-thieving feline explorer.
To book a meet and greet with Lara, please call the Bendigo Animal Relief Centre on 5441-2209 or email us at barcreception.com.au
Let the quest begin.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
