Hello, I’m May, a stunning little girl looking for my forever home!

Nature
I love being around my people, I’m curious and like to keep an eye on everything going on, but I’m still learning how nice pats can be. At dinner time, when my kitty friends are around, I’m brave enough for some gentle touches (especially if you’ve got something tasty). But if you try to pat me without food as a bribe, you might get a tiny hiss and a gentle pat with my paw, don’t worry, it’s just my way of saying I need a bit more time.

When I’m not following my friends, you’ll find me lounging in the cat tower or sunbaking in my favourite sunny spot, nothing beats a warm autumn sunbeam! I love the fresh air in the cat run but I’m also quite cosy being indoor only, means I get to spend more time around the humans.

If you’re looking for a beautiful little girl to fall in love with (see what I did there?), I could be your perfect match. With time, patience, and lots of tasty snacks, I’ll show you just how sweet and special I am.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a baby and I’m very curious about her, I think I could live with another one, or with older kids who aren’t going to chase me around. I’m not sure about little kids who are up and on their feet, they might be too scary for me!

I get on great with the other cats in my foster home, but I don’t actively seek them out or cuddle them. I think I’d enjoy a cat friend as company, but I could be an only cat too if you are home full time and give me plenty of time to trust you.

I’m also totally fine with big, gentle dogs and playful bouncy puppies, a polite pup who understands boundaries is no problem for me.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food and sunbathing in quiet spots around the house. There’s a cat run in my foster home and you’ll often find me out there! I’d love one in my new home too.

I dislike loud and sudden noises and movements, but I’m getting braver every day.

My PURR-fect home would be with loving humans who will keep me safe inside, or give me access to an enclosed cat run. I want humans who will spoil me and adore me, as I’m such a beautiful girl.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*May’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment

Medical Notes: May had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. She was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.

May has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout her life. May had a dental scale and polish in April 2025 with removal of 9 teeth, 3 additional teeth were found to already be missing. May will need her teeth checked at her annual vaccination. She may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. She may need teeth extracted in the future.

May is FIV and FelV negative.
