About Mandy - 2 Year Old Greyhound
Meet Mandy – The Sweetheart with Zoomies and a Heart of Gold!
Breed: Greyhound
Age: 2.5 years
Size: Tall and graceful (but thinks she’s lap-sized)
Mandy is a retired athlete who never made it to the track—turns out, being adorable was her true calling. This gentle girl is a pro at couch snuggles, treat-sniffing, and looking elegant while doing absolutely nothing.
💤 Soft beds? Yes please.
🐱 Cats? No problem.
👶 Kids? Gentle and sweet.
🐾 Zoomies? At least once a day, followed by a nap, obviously.
🎾 Kong toys? Obsessed.
She’s toilet trained, walks beautifully on a lead, and gets along well with other greyhounds. While Mandy is generally calm and easy-going, she can be a bit shy in new places—so she’ll need a kind, patient human to show her the world isn’t so scary (and full of treats). She has adapted to home life very quickly. Although in her former life she had a significant accident, she is healing well. Mandy would suit a loving family, couple or older person looking for affection and occasional goofiness.
What Mandy’s Dream Home Looks Like:
* A quiet, loving household
* Somewhere to stretch out (your couch will do nicely)
* A Kong toy or two
* Opportunities to Zoomie
If you’re after a loving, quirky companion who’s equal parts elegance and goofball, Mandy is your girl. Let her melt your heart (and take over your lounge).
Mandy is in foster care in Teralba, Lake Macquarie, NSW. Mandy’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms.
