About Nova
Meet Nova,
If we could measure joy and love of life, Nova would be overflowing with it. Nova is best described as a sweet girl with a beautiful soul who will blossom as she finds her feet in the new life awaiting her. Nova is still a pup really; Nova shows no aggression to dogs or other people and has a quiet temperament and is a bit of a snuggler. As you can see from her pictures, Nova is a pretty big girl, but she is really a quiet country girl at heart and has the personality to match that.
She still ‘puppy chews’ things outside when left home all day but nothing of value. She also collects things that smell like her foster parents and lays on them in her bed
She loves people and cuddles and is always happy to see her care giver. Nova is intrigued by all the new things she is seeing and has a puppy’s curiosity to learn. Nova loves to be by the side of her special person as well. She also needs patience and time to learn how to be the dog that you want her to be. Considering that Novas does not jump fences or bark incessantly she is off to a good start in the good behaviour stakes.
Nova would benefit from ongoing training but is very smart and already learning the difference between good girl and naughty. Ideally, she will have a doggy friend to continue learning from
She is learning to walk on the lead but does not pull, another positive. If you can find a place for her in your plans and are prepared to be patient whilst she learns, apply to adopt today!
