About Flo
Flo is a sleek, black beauty looking for humans to constantly give cuddles, kisses and pats! She is very affectionate and will interact with strangers and other dogs. Flo needs a home without children or cats, as she has not been exposed to them. In foster care she is living with another greyhound in an apartment and is doing great on the lead. She has been left home for up to 8 hours with another greyhound, so would likely suit a home with a companion if you don’t work from home. Flo has blossomed in foster care and become more confident. She is getting the hang of toilet training, only needing reminders to go after dinner. She is respectful of boundaries and her love language is praise – food and treats are okay but she will choose affection over these. She also will always choose a pile of laundry over a dog bed!

Adoption details
1) Please email hello@amazinggreys.com.au to receive our adoption application form. This form helps us learn more about you, your household and work commitments.
2) Once we received your application, Amazing Greys conducts an in person home check to make sure your home is secure and suitable for a greyhound.
3) Based on the home check, our adoptions team will suggest a suitable match for you*, and a meet and greet will be arranged with the foster home
4) After the meet and greet, should you decide to proceed the greyhound will be placed on a 3 week trial with you
5) At the completion of the trial period, our $400 fee will be due and the greyhound becomes an official member of your family!
Our team will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you to settle in your new greyhound; but you will also have lifetime support, at any point post adoption our team can assist with referrals to qualified behaviourists and also providing resources and in home consultations where required.
*Where a suitable match is not available, you may be placed onto a wait list. Please note, we do not cat test and may refer applications with small animals to organisations that are able to assist with a placement
