About Missy
Missy is a sweet and gentle 11-year-old girl with plenty of love still to give. She came into our care a few weeks ago after she and her siblings were sadly listed on Gumtree as "Free to a Good Home" when their owner became unwell. A kind-hearted person took in Missy and her sister, but couldn't keep them long-term, so she reached out to us for help.
Missy adores being close to her humans and simply wants to be where you are. While she’s okay with calm dogs, she prefers her own space and would do best as the only dog in the home—or possibly with a quiet, older dog who respects her boundaries.
She’s is getting used to using the doggy door. At night, she’s happy to sleep in her own bed but would love to snuggle in with her humans if allowed.
Missy isn’t a big fan on walks or outings to the dog park, but she’s content being carried around over there and enjoys a gentle play with a few smaller, older doggy friends.
She’s a well-mannered little girl who just wants to be the centre of your world. As long as she’s showered with love and attention, she’s one very happy princess!
Missy is in good health and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is up to date with flea, tick, and worm prevention. She does require some dental work, which will be completed before she goes to her new home.
Her ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and willing to have her indoors with access to a secure outdoor space. Due to her tiny size, fences will need to be checked carefully for small gaps she could slip through.
She would love to be adopted with her sister, Chichi, However this isn't a must
