About Lucy
Hi, I’m Lucy! Could you be my forever?
I’m a 3.5-year-old blonde bombshell - well, a fawn to be exact! I have soft, sweet nature and the kind of eyes that will melt your heart. While my pretty face might catch your attention, it is my gentle, affectionate soul that wins everybody over.
When I first arrived at the kennels, I was a little on the shy side, but I have really come out of my shell! Now I trot right up to the volunteers to say hello, gently demanding pats and soaking up all the attention I can get. I have discovered that humans are pretty great, and they think the same about me!
I love playing in the activity gardens, and I’ve even mastered going up and down the stairs (go me!), but there is nothing I love more than a roll around on the grass in the sunshine. Bliss! I’m still building my confidence around other dogs and am not too sure what to think about them yet, but I’m always polite and gentle.
I would probably be happiest in a quieter home where I can time my time to settle, but with the right support and patience I could adapt to lots of different environments. I’m a clever girl with a sensitive side, so I’d love to share my days with someone kind and calm who will help me keep blossoming.
If you have been dreaming of a loyal, loving companion with a heart as big as her eyes, I think we might be a perfect match!

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!
All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
