Snoop is a beautiful, affectionate boy with a heart full of love. He recently completed Board & Train with The Good Hound Company, where he polished his lead manners, crate training, and food boundaries. He truly thrives around people — he adores cuddles, loves licking faces, and has no hesitation with new humans. Snoop is a velcro dog who just wants to be near you, whether it’s curled up beside you or snuggled on your bed.

He has a sweet habit of sucking on a blanket for comfort and settles peacefully with a toy after walks.

💕 Personality & Behaviour:
• Very affectionate and people-oriented
• House-trained and uses the doggy door
• Rarely barks and is relaxed indoors
• Settles well when left home alone
• Calm in the car
• Sleeps curled up beside you

🍽️ Feeding & Commands:
• Eats 1.5 cups dry food morning and night
• Loves liver treats, mandarins, banana, peanuts
• Enjoys chewing antlers
• Knows sit, shake, down, and stay

⚠️ Please note:
Snoop is currently polishing his manners around food and toys. While he’s doing incredibly well, we feel it’s best he goes to a home without children under 12, as younger kids may not understand his excitability around food. He is being actively trained by his foster carer following his professional board and train week, and he’s becoming a very well-rounded dog — but like all dogs, training should be ongoing. Snoop is still polishing up his excitability during walks especially when meeting other dogs. He can be lead reactive but this is being continuously worked on by his foster carer. He has coexisted well with female dogs at the board and train and even enjoyed sharing toys with them.

Snoop is an inside dog, fully house-trained, and very much a people-person. He’s not used to being left outside and shows no signs of separation anxiety. He wants to be part of a loving family who includes him in daily life. Snoop might be best as an only dog but he has played really well with submissive female dogs during his time at board and train.
