Henry Lee

Henry Lee is a special boy who's come such a long way. Once a terrified young pup who had never experienced the outside world, he's blossomed into a sweet, affectionate, and intelligent companion thanks to the love of his foster carer, the guidance of a kind trainer, and the support of behavioural medication.

While Henry Lee may be a little shy when first meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his warm, loving nature to shine through. Once he feels safe, he's all in - offering kisses, cuddles, and even "hugs" on cue to his trusted humans. He's incredibly food-motivated, quick to learn, and eager to please, making training a fun and rewarding experience.

Henry Lee loves his walks. Whether he's trotting along suburban footpaths or exploring a peaceful bushland trail, he takes in the world at his own thoughtful pace, tail wagging as he sniffs every interesting scent. He's happiest when he can enjoy life's simple pleasures - a good stroll, a quiet nap, and a snuggle with his favourite people.

He's okay being left alone for reasonable periods and has found comfort in the predictable rhythm of home life. While still gaining confidence around other dogs, Henry Lee could live with a friendly, calm dog who can help guide him gently. He's also well suited to a home with kind, respectful children.

We're currently seeking a Foster-to-Adopt home for Henry Lee - a loving space where he can continue to grow and thrive, supported by our rescue team every step of the way with guidance, training, and ongoing care.
