NOTE: You are unable to meet Layla until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Layla in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I like both friendly male and female dogs. A doggie playmate who is friendly and submissive would be okay, on the other hand, I am also happy just being with my people.
• Secure Fencing
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention - I do a cute little howl if I’m not getting it.
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years
• I will happily follow you around the house to see what you are doing but be warned, I can get under foot and trip you up if you aren’t watching out for me.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I walk well on lead
• I love to play fetch & with soft toys
