About Muffin SUA013710
Meet Muffin, a beautiful senior lady with a soft spirit and a heart of gold. This lovely lady may take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once she feels at home, she will reward you with her affectionate personality and gentle companionship.
In her golden years, Muffin embodies the grace and wisdom of age. She's perfectly suited for a tranquil, quiet home, especially one shared with a like-minded retiree who appreciates the charm of a devoted feline family member. While she's not as sprightly as she once was, Muffin occasionally surprises with brief bursts of playfulness, delighting in a game with a simple ribbon or feather toy.
Being a Torti, Muffin has little problem telling you her preferences. Her subtle sass adds to her charm, making her stand out as a truly unique companion. Her gentle nature and love for serene environments mean she would flourish in a peaceful setting where she can comfortably claim a sunny spot as her own.
If you're searching for a calm, affectionate senior who relishes a laid-back lifestyle, then look no further than Muffin. She's ready to bring warmth and joy to a home where she can feel safe and loved. Embrace the opportunity to share your days with this exquisite feline lady, and let Muffin fill your life with the simple pleasures of companionship and devotion.
From her foster home -
She’s searching for the perfect companion — someone who truly appreciates the quieter moments in life. While she may be a little shy and timid when first introduced to new surroundings, once she feels safe and settled, her affectionate side shines through. She’ll sit close by, purring softly, and gently ask for pats.
She thrives in a calm, peaceful environment and loves soaking up the sun as it streams through a window — the simple joys bring her comfort. A quiet home with kind, patient companionship will give her the ideal space to relax and enjoy her regal golden years. Muffin has zero tolerance with fellow felines and canines so she must be the Queen of her Castle.
Her ideal family will be understanding of her need for time and space to adjust and will provide her with the love and tranquility she deserves.

Medical notes
Chronic Kidney Disease
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in cats is a progressive and common condition, particularly in older cats, where the kidneys gradually lose their ability to function properly. It's characterized by decreased appetite, weight loss, increased thirst, and increased urination. There's no cure for CKD, but it can be managed with veterinary care and dietary adjustments.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
