About Suki - 6 Month Old Chow Chow
Meet Suki – A Smart, Sensitive, and Devoted Young Chow Chow 🐾
If you're looking for a loyal companion with charm, smarts, and a heart that bonds deeply with her person, Suki might just be the dog you've been waiting for.
Suki is a young Chow Chow who brings together all the best traits of her breed: fiercely loyal, intelligent, independent, but also deeply loving to the person she trusts.
🏠 House-Trained & Respectful Indoors
Suki is beautifully behaved at home. She’s house-trained and not destructive. She even knows when it’s bedtime, when the lights go down, she settles quietly.
🚗 Road Trip Buddy
She loves going for a drive and will be your calm companion on any adventure.
🐕 Dog Friendly
Suki is good with other dogs and walks with calm curiosity. She enjoys gentle walks, is curious about her surroundings, and loves a small game or two.
🧠 Very Smart & Eager to Learn
She picks up commands quickly—often after just a few tries. Her intelligence, combined with her Chow nature, makes her a rewarding and unique companion.
❤ Loyal & People-Focused
Like many Chows, Suki forms a deep, one-person bond. She’s loving, watchful, and devoted to her chosen human.
⚠ Ideal Home Setup
Suki is still a puppy and can be easily spooked, typical for her breed. She is uncomfortable in high-traffic areas, shops, or events. Suki is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
She also resource guards her person, so she needs:
* A child-free home
* Preferably a single-adult household
* A calm, dog-savvy carer who understands Chow behaviour

Suki is in foster care in Wahroonga, NSW. She is not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $2,000 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
