Hiya, my name is Chai! I’m a snuggly little purr train, or so my Foster Mumma says. Once I’m in your arms, I can purr louder than your TV. Give me that perfect scratch behind the ears and under my chin and I won’t let you stop.

I’m a real lap buddy, and I will sit by your door or on your favourite chair, until you notice me. My siblings have all now left me so I am becoming the best little hooman friend that I can be. You will not only fall in love with my purrs but the colour of my soft fur is beautiful; yes I know I’m a cutie!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I love children! They give the best cuddles and scratches. I prefer children over 10 years old because I don’t really like to be chased quickly around the place, but I may get used to them as I am very resilient.

I come from a big kitten family so other cats don’t really bother me, if anything I love to give them kisses and snuggle with them.

I haven’t had much interaction with dogs, except at the vet where I met a lovely little dog who let me be curious and sniff her up close. I didn’t mind her too much but she was almost my size.

Likes / Dislikes
I love my food, followed by a nap or scratch to put my full little belly away. Balls, toy mice and empty toilet rolls are my go to fun activities. I love playing hide and seek under your bed; I love making my foster family find me as I just stretch out and meow a “took you long enough”.

I’m not too fond of the big outdoors; it’s really scary out there so I prefer to travel in my special carry case. But I do love car rides even if it is to the vet - they give great treats after!

My PURR-fect home would be one that lets me run and explore and is a little quiet during the day. Friends would be great: hooman or furry, even both! At first I will be a bit timid, so if you have time to sit and let me take over your lap for ear scratches we, will become best of friends quickly. If you love playing hide and seek and love night time snuggles we will be an awesome fit.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
